My young niece, all of 10 years old, has her own iPad and is quite a pro at using it. She has a DSLR too because she is interested in shooting birds. And she used to help her journo mom with her blog.

In fact, she uses them with the same ease with which I used to play with clay and blocks as a child. She is a Millennial child.

Schoolstoreng and Oxford University Press recently held Oxford Reading Tree workshops for teachers in Lagos and Abuja. Nicholas Sullivan who facilitated the event has been Head Teacher of an outstanding large inner city Infant School in the UK for over 20 years.

    Mitchel Resnick is the Director of the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab. Amongst his group’s many achievements is the programming language, called scratch, that makes it easier for students to create their own animated stories, video games, and interactive art. His book, Lifelong Kindergarten – Cultivating Creativity through Projects, Passion, Peers and Play, was recently published by MIT Press and is available at all good bookstores.

  • OXFORD READING TREE WORKSHOP AT CHILDRENS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL.

    SchoolstoreNG in collaboration with Oxford University Press organized a reading workshop on the 27th and 28th August 2018 with 13 participating schools

    The workshop which, was facilitated by Heather French was highly Interactive and practical session. She shared tips on how to motivate children to read and the teachers actively participated. Getting the children involved could include; games, music and dancing.

  • Pi-top Blossoms at Brookstone, Port Harcourt!!!

    Pi-top on its quest to conquer the field of robotics in the nation has attained another height and gained recognition in Rivers State.

    Pi-top safely and successfully journeyed its way to the capital city of Rivers where Brookstone School widely opened its arms to embrace it.
