OBJECTIVES AND METHODOLOGICAL APPROACH:
The integration of people newly arrived in a French-speaking environment is a recurring issue and represents a major social issue. Among the factors that contribute to this integration, mastery of the language is essential and this is why language training is put in place for these audiences. The author carries out an analysis of the context and the challenges of these training courses, then proposes concrete avenues of work for professional trainers and volunteers who work with these audiences.
